The Bible is filled with stories, parables and analogies which exemplify and reveal how people living in their time and culture experienced God.
Miriam was one of many who were part of a great story regarding the Israelites.
Miriam the Facilitator.
Miriam is known to us by way of the Bible to be Moses’ (the great deliverer) sister, who protected him from danger by placing him in the entrance of a passage which eventually led to the deliverance of the Israelites from Egypt.
Miriam the Facilitator
Later in the story of the Israelites being freed from slavery in the land of Egypt, she facilitated them in song and dance as they celebrated the crossing of the red sea and the victory over their enemy.
The ministry of “Miriam’s Portal” is pleased to announce the first of—what we hope are—many events in which God’s people can be escorted through portals, to what will be the next path
on their spiritual journey.
